1 March 2017: The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) today published a progress update for 2016 which shows that more than 12,500 SMEs have now drawn down €544 million in lower cost SBCI loans.

16 December 2016: The SBCI has obtained a further €450 million in funding to facilitate the growing demand for SBCI loans and bring its current funding capacity from its original €800 million to €1.25 billion.
29 November 2016: The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) and FEXCO Asset Finance today announce a new funding package of €70 million that will allow Irish SMEs to borrow at a lower cost for specialist equipment and vehicles.
Low cost loans will be available this week through AIB, Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank.
