RETROFIT LOAN GUARANTEE SCHEME

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND WITHDRAWAL OF INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND INVITATION FOR AWARD

27th October - Please take note that in respect of the Retrofit Loan Guarantee Scheme (the “Retrofit Scheme”), the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (“SBCI”) hereby cancels and withdraws:

  1. the Invitation for Pre-Qualification for the Retrofit Scheme which was published on the SBCI website on 4 May 2022 (the “Invitation for Pre-Qualification”); and
  2. the Invitation for Award for the Retrofit Scheme which was issued by SBCI on 30 September 2022 (and updated on 25 October 2022) to successful applicants under the Invitation for Pre-Qualification (the “Invitation for Award”).

Such cancellation and withdrawal is in accordance with Section 5 (Legal Notice) of the Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Section 4 (Legal Notice) of the Invitation for Award, which state that “SBCI reserves the right at any time not to continue with the current process and/or cancel or withdraw from the process at any stage”.

A replacement Open Call for the Retrofit Scheme will be published on the SBCI website on 31 October 2023.
