Data Sharing and Governance
The Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 provides a statutory basis to allow public bodies to share personal data. The Act has several provisions including legislating for a consistent approach to data-sharing and providing for Data Sharing Agreements to be put in place between public bodies.

The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland has entered into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019.
