While the on-lending partners may use different pricing approaches, the SBCI ensures (through detailed monitoring) that the financial advantage of the lower cost funding obtained by the on-lenders is fully passed on through to eligible SMEs
• Partnering with government agencies to create loan schemes to address specific market challenges for SMEs and inviting on-lending partners to participate in each scheme through an open call e.g. SBCI Brexit Loan Scheme, SBCI Future Growth Loan Scheme, Covid-19 Credit Guarantee Scheme and Brexit Impact Loan Scheme
• Providing risk-priced portfolio guarantees to on-lending partners. Providing a combination of funding and guarantees to on-lending partners
